Location: Landmark's Century Centre Cinema
On a two-week trip to Manchester, England, Gabriel, a tightly wound sixteen-year-old from Iceland, is befriended by Marcus, a free spirit. Their friendship quickly becomes confusing when the two boys share a romantic kiss on their last night together. When Gabriel returns to Iceland, his close-knit group of friends notice that he has changed, and Gabriel begins to question his own identity because of it. But Gabriel hardly has time to worry about his own problems since the lives of all his friends seem to be falling apart around him. When Marcus returns on the scene, though, Gabriel can no longer avoid dealing with who he is and what he wants. Nominated for an EDDA Award (Iceland’s Oscars), Jitters has been compared favorably to the popular British teen drama Skins.
