Winner of Best Mexican Film and Best Actress prizes at the Guadalajara Film Festival, Round Trip is a road movie about two women thrown together by chance. Fer and Lucía, two young women from different social classes, randomly meet at a bus shelter on the highway leading out of Mexico City. After Fre inadvertently causes Lucía to miss her bus, she offers her a ride to her destination, which Lucía reluctantly accepts. The friction between the two women isn’t helped when their car breaks down, leaving them stranded in the desert. But being forced to spend two nights together leads to unexpected affection, solidarity, and desire that will nourish each woman as they face their divergent roads ahead.
