Two gutsy gay college students vie for a spot in the Guinness Book of World Records for the longest continuous kiss. In a test of physical endurance and personal courage, they must last 33 hours with no sitting, no breaks, no solid food, and nothing to rely on when nature calls. As they stand together, lips locked, under a small tent on campus, streaming live on the web, friends and family, and eventually half a million online viewers around the world watch, some jeering and some cheering, culminating in a media sensation hailed as “the kiss heard around the world.”
